Jaroslav Daniška

Jaroslav Daniška has been the editor-in-chief of Štandard since its founding in November 2020. He is responsible for leading and overseeing the editorial team. He hosts the weekly debate show “Do kríža” on public television. For the past two years, he moderated the show “K2” on Slovak Radio, focusing on important cultural figures, especially those disregarded by the communist regime. He previously worked for the newspaper Postoj and the weekly magazine Týždeň. His articles are also published in Czech, Polish, and Hungarian media.

For many years, he led the Impulz magazine, which focused on Catholic culture, essays, and timeless reflections. After his studies, he worked in the office of Minister of Interior Vladimír Palko, where he dealt with topics of European integration and immigration, before serving as an assistant to several members of parliament. He studied political science in Trnava and Prague and completed a stay at the University of Warsaw.
